英文投訴信範本如下：
Dear Sir/Madam
This photo was taken recently by a Hong Kong citizen at a shop in Hong Kong showing the directory at a Nike shop.
The phonetic translation for Michael Jordon written in this Traditional Chinese sign, the written language in Hong Kong, is incorrect - it is instead the phonetic translation for People's Republic of China (for your information, they use Simplified Chinese). Cantonese language and Mandarin language are completely different, hence phonetic translations in these two languages are not interchangeable - Cantonese pronunciation of the translation of "Jordon" as shown in the picture is "Kiu Daan", and the standard translation used in Hong Kong as written on the picture in red is "Jo(r) Deon" - in short, the translations of Jordon in Hong Kong and PRC are completely different.
This clearly shows that Nike has no respect for the locals in different markets, evident by not willing to spend extra couple hundred of Dollars on its marketing collateral to tailor its materials for each market. I find this very offensive, so do many people and netizens in Hong Kong. I urge Nike to issue a statement to apologise to the Cantonese speaking community in Hong Kong and demand its marketing department to always respect the local community where they operate.
